Lords of the Fallen offers a great variety of possible builds – made possible thanks to different stats, weapon, armour and spell variety available in the game. However, your choice of weapon will be the key around which other elements add to when it comes to your build and playstyle. And in this article, we will look at the best weapons in Lords Of The Fallen around which you can plan your build. We will look at both melee and ranged weapons in this list

10. Kinrangr Hunter Dagger + Jeffrey’s Dagger

We start the list with a dual wield combo – the Kinrangr Hunter Dagger and Jeffrey’s Dagger combination is the perfect frost build as both weapons inflict frost, with Jeffrey’s Dagger doing wither damage as well. The Kinrangr Hunter Dagger is found in Fief of the Chill Area, and Jeffrey’s Dagger in the Tower of Penance area. Both scale very well with Agility; while the Kinrangr Hunter Dagger scales a bit from Strength as well.

9. Faithful Bludgeon

A true big bonk weapon found in the beginning area of the game, with a great Strength scaling of A+ when fully upgraded make this easily one of the best weapons in Lords Of The Fallen. The weapon also looks massive and delivers satisfying, high impact charged attacks that can hit multiple enemies and do big time posture damage to bosses and tough enemies.

8. Bloody Glory

One thing I will give it to the LOTF developers – they get the name and the weapon look absolutely spot on! Bloody Glory is a Grand Sword found in the Pilgrim’s Perch (not the area with platforms and ladders – this is after you unlock the door next to the Vestige of Blind Agatha. You can either do it by purchasing the key off Stomund, or coming across it naturally as you progress through the game). If you choose to take the key early on to make a run for the sword location since enemies here would be high level for you, but with this you can get your hands on this pretty early in the game, making the attempts worth it. The sword scales off Radiance and Strength – and requires 32 and 20 respectively in both stats to be able to wield it effectively. The weapon does split physical and holy damage, and also inflicts a bleed buildup of 300. If you are looking for a Paladin – melee type of a build, this will be the perfect weapon to play through the game

7. Hushed Saint’s Halberd

One of the few boss weapons in the list, this weapon is a great melee choice for balanced builds as it scales from both Strength and Agility, and can be obtained in return for the remembrance of the Hushed Saint – a boss in the early Forsaken Fen area. The weapon inflicts a massive 200 poison buildup as well – which is a great effect to stack up on the enemies especially bosses as the damage counter keeps ticking in between attacks as well.

6. Grinning Axe

The one thing holding back this weapon from being higher up on the list is that it is found pretty late game at Bramis Castle, and you can find only one during the playthrough – in an ideal world you would be dual wielding this weapon. Scaling off Inferno (starts at a B- to A+ when fully upgraded), the weapon does split physical, fire and wither damage – while inflicting burn and ignite buildup on enemies! You can slot 2 Inferno runes into the first two, and any type of rune in the 3rd slot to further increase damage

5. Harrower Dervla’s Crossbow

The only ranged weapon on the list and for a good reason – it makes the game difficulty a non-issue as you can snipe and multi-hit both bosses and mobs comfortably from a distance with this boss weapon. While the weapon has both a Strength(16) and Agility(20) requirement, it primarily scales off Agility – when fully upgraded it has a A- scaling on Agility and C on Strength. You want easy mode for LOTF? – this is the weapon you need to go with. This is obtained in exchange for the Harrower Dervla Remembrance after defeating the boss at the end of the Revelation Depths area.

4. Sword of Skin & Tooth

The perfect companion to your Strength build – and one of the few pure Strength requirement weapons that also does fire damage and inflicts burn on enemies; the weapon looks every bit as cool as it sounds. It is also a weapon you can lay your hands on fairly early in mid-game in the Lower Calrath area. The weapon starts off with an impressive B- scaling on strength which improves to A+ when fully upgraded; and hits like a truck against bosses

3. Pieta’s Sword

Yes this is probably the most used weapon in a Radiance build, and in PVP. Yes its damage in P2P was nerfed slightly. Still, it is the one of the best weapons out there and what’s more – one of the coolest ones. I mean, who wouldn’t want to cut through monsters equipped with a flashy lightsaber-like sword? And if all this was not enough, you get the weapon by defeating the first boss in the game. Sure, you have to wait a bit to be able to trade it from Molhu, but you can still get the weapon comfortably before you reach mid-game. We would have put it along with Elianne the Starved’s Sword as a deadly combo, except that you get this weapon in the very end, making it useful only for a NG+ cycle.

2. Fallen Lord’s Sword

The perfect weapon for an Inferno melee build, this weapon is found in the same area where you get the Sword of Skin & Tooth – Lower Calrath. The weapon weighs a hefty 42.3 and with good reason as hits can stagger an enemy to oblivion. It also does 300 ignite damage which has an AOE effect and is invaluable in clearing out mobs quickly. I used this sword to sail through the game in my Inferno build (we have the full details here in our best Inferno build for Lords Of The Fallen). The weapon starts with a C+ scaling and ends with an A+ when fully upgraded and has 3 Inferno rune slots.

1. Bloodlust + Kukajin’s Sword

The perfect combination for a poison-based Agility build; Bloodlust inflicts burn and bleed, and heals for every enemy killed; while Kukajin’s Sword inflicts poison and bleed. This weapon set, combined with the Poison Weapon spell (or poison salts) and the Bloodbane Ring (inflicts bleed wherever there is Poison effect inflicted) can melt through bosses and tough enemies effortlessly, and is one of the most lethal builds for the game. The big plus here is again the fact that you can get both these weapons pretty early in the game (you will have to complete Kukajin’s sidequest in a different playthrough). I had a blast completing the game with this build and is, easily my favourite. If you are looking to give the game another run and you have not used this, trust me, this is the build you should go for.

So there you have it, our list of the top 10 weapons in Lords Of The Fallen. Which of the above weapons have you used in your walkthrough, and which are the ones that you think we should have included in this list?
