How Can I Get the Adaptation Mod in Warframe?
Arbitration
The Adaptation mod is gated behind Arbitrations which are only unlocked when you complete the whole of Warframe’s star chart once. Arbitrations are hourly-rotated special endless mission types like Survival, Defense, Excavation, Disruption, and Defection, that you can access from the Alerts tab once unlocked.
The Adaptation mod is an Arbitration Rotation A and B reward with a 2 and 2.5 percent drop chance respectively. As you might have guessed from the numbers, it can take a while for the mod to drop for you.

However, keep in mind that, unlike normal missions that run an A-A-B-C rotation, Arbitrations feature A-A-B-B-C-C rotation and no A or B rotation after the initial four. This means that if you are exclusively looking for the Adaptation mod, you can play the first four rotations in an Arbitration mission and restart the mission until you get it.
Trading
If you have a few Plats to spare, you can trade the Adaptation mod from other players if you want to bypass the Arbitration grind. Warframe.market can come in handy in this regard. A rank 0 Adaptation is usually listed for around 15 Platinum.
How Does Adaptation Work?
The Adaptation mod in Warframe adds stacking damage resistance to different damage types as you are exposed to a particular type of damage. When you take damage, suppose Puncture damage in this case, you’ll get resistance equal to the rank of your Adaptation mod. So, if your Adaptation mod is maxed at rank 10, you’ll gain 10% resistance to Puncture damage for 20 seconds. And this stacks up to 10 times for a maximum of 90% damage reduction.
While the Rolling Guard mod is the meta for level-capped runs, Adaptation works just fine for Steel Path missions. It bolsters the survivability of your frames significantly and it also stacks with other defensive bonuses from Warframes, mods, and Arcanes.
