An upcoming games video showcase by Sony Playstation for PS5 for 2024 has Silent Hill 2 and Metal Gear Solid Delta : Snake Eater Remakes as part of the current year calendar. While the remakes were known, the release year was not confirmed or announced.
The video starts with the games that are known and confirmed for the current year like Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Rise Of Ronin, Tekken 8, Like a Dragon and so on; till it then throws up a Silent Hill 2, and a few games later Metal Gear Solid Delta : Snake Eater just like that. Now we have to wait and watch what happens next – do the games get removed / or a clarification comes on this from either Sony or Konami.
A similar thing happened for Xbox as well over the past couple of days, when a Disney blog for their theme park upcoming attractions put up a late 2024 launch window for Star Wars Outlaws. After this got out and lot of websites covered that, Disney went back and changed the part to a general 2024 launch window without any other specific details.
On the side, the game releases for PS5 are something definitely to be excited about – with the much awaited Stellar Blade also confirmed for the current year.
