Out of the games announced; Alien Isolation, Disco Elysium & Dead Island were received well at the time of launch. Gotham Knights, while a AAA release developed by WB Games received mixed reviews on account of repetitive gameplay and uninteresting combat – but with a good story to be found beneath that. Fans of the souls-like genre have Eldest Souls to look forward to; which is an Indie game that was received quite well.
