The Season Of Revelry Event Part 1 – Offerings of Orius kicks off today in Lords Of The Fallen with new spells, new projectiles, new boss weapon abilities and seasonal decorations. Part 2 of the event, titled The Trial Of The Three Spirits will kick off on December 21st. The Season Revelry Event is part of an overall and extensive content plan for the game from developer Hexworks.
Offerings Of Orius – New Additions – Available Now:
- New Spells: Immolation, Brother Knight’s Radiant Shield Throw, Holy Arrow Shot
- New Projectiles: Blood Of Vomit, Explosive Mines & Frost Worms
- New Boss Weapon Abilities: Boss weapon abilities like those in Lightreaper’s Dual Blades, Pieta and Elianne sword combo now available for Abbess’s Greatsword & Father of Misery’s Greathammer on completing certain tasks. The developers are also working on introducing abilities for all boss weapons
- Holiday Decorations: Vestiges now have a festive decor
Trial Of The Three Spirits – New Additions – Out On Dec 21
- Three new questlines with armour sets and weapons – one each for the Umbral, Radiance and Rhogar factions
- Mirror of Distortion – allowing you to change your character’s appearance
- New Grievous Attacks – each weapon will have unique finishers for single and dual-wielding
- Storage Box – improved inventory management
- Gamepad Rebind – rebind gamepad for better control and flexibility
- Snowballs – ability to throw snowballs on enemies and invaders, causing frostbite
In addition, the patch also fixes several gameplay and technical bugs. It is great to see a developer putting out such a content plan and keep delivering on it to keep fans engaged – this is also likely to win over gamers who may not have played this one.
Lords Of The Fallen was released on Oct 13 this year for PS5, Xbox Series S/X and PC.
