On the back of a successful release of Lies Of P; basis a post on the company’s official job board, a DLC is potentially in the works – as identified by X (formerly Twitter) user Okami Games.
One of the points in the job posting mentions a DLC planned for production under the Project Introduction for Lies of P. This also is apparently confirmed as per the IGN report on the same
Lies Of P Ending (spoilers ahead)
The ending in Lies Of P also clearly points towards an expansion in the form of a sequel or a DLC. It ends with a post-credits scene where we see a young girl with red shoes walking and singing in a (seemingly?) innocent tune. Not just that, Paracelsus also mentions “I will find her, for sure. Another key of ours: Dorothy”.
Lies Of P
Lies Of P, launched across all platforms on 19th September 2023, has received generally favorable reviews; clocking a favorable 80 on critic score and 8.1 on user score on Metacritic. It has been looked to have been a good addition to the soulsborne genre; drawing inspiration from Bloodborne more than anything else, and Sekiro as well.
The world-building of the Belle Epoch era, the environment, cool weapons that can be customized and super challenging boss battles have been pointed out as highlights in particular.
