Dead Island 2’s first story expansion titled Haus will be out on Nov 2nd; and a 2nd one titled Sola Festival has been announced for release in Q2 2024.
Haus DLC Details : Setting & New Weapons
Haus takes players to a billionaire’s villa in Malibu; who has been preparing for the zombiecalypsae – by setting up a techno-death cult! And it is upto the players to stand up and take up the fight against what promises, according to the publisher, to be a “surreal, psycho-horror dreamscape” – just the stuff you would expect in a Dead Island 2 DLC!
The players will, of course, be aided by a new arsenal of tools and weapons to smash the zombie hordes; which include:
- K-ROSSBOW – crafted for precision and lethality, unleash devastating long-range firepower and explode zombified brains with ease
- Hog Roaster – the ultimate ticket to visceral slaying whilst you simultaneously butcher and BBQ zombies
- Dead Islands – to take the weight off your shoulders whilst you smash the undead enemies into oblivion
- 8 New Skill Cards – will embellish player’s slayer with and expanded arsenal of skills
Dead Island 2
Dead Island 2, published by Deep Silver and developed by Dambuster Studios – and launched for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X in April this year; opened up to good reviews. It is the sequel which was 11 years in the making after the first Dead Island (which happens to be the newest addition to PS Plus Extra for Oct 2023) release in 2011.
