The Planetarium in Rooms and Exits Chapter 3 Level 4 welcomes you with a dialogue between Detective Fiona and Jack. They are on the lookout for a notorious thief who has left a mask behind. To continue the pursuit, you must look for hidden clues and exit the Planetarium.
There are two main exploration areas on this level – the auditorium and an observation room. According to me, unlocking the code to the Podium Number puzzle and deciphering the planetary alignment puzzle is the trickiest challenge of this round.
How to Solve Rooms and Exits Planetarium Level
- Check out the projector (behind the sitting area). You will find an empty disk slot on the projector and a code hint engraved at the bottom.
- Go to the podium and a number placement puzzle awaits you. Using the hint code, you can solve this puzzle easily. Place 6,4, and 3 in the first column (top to bottom), 2 in the central slot, and 8,9, and 1 in the third column.
- You will obtain a telescope lens for solving this puzzle.
- Click on the lamp on the podium and retrieve the Neon Light.
- Click on the door to the left and you will enter the observation room.
- Go to the window sill and grab the small globe.
- Place the lens on the telescope by the window and carefully observe the pattern of the stars.
- Check out the series of portraits to the right of the bookshelf. These pictures can be rotated. You need to shuffle them to duplicate the same star pattern as you viewed through the telescope.
- On recreating and solving the star portrait puzzle, you will obtain a key.
- Use this key to open the locked Periodic Table (right of the portrait puzzle). Use the neon light and you will notice that symbols of H, N, and Mg have been highlighted. Pay attention to their Atomic Numbers (1, 7, 12).
- Go to the bookshelf and you will notice the same element symbols hanging on the right. To uncover a new clue, you need to rearrange the books. On the top rack, slide 1 book to the left, on the middle slide 7 books, and similarly 12 books on the bottom rack.
- A secret compartment will open after solving the bookshelf puzzle, and you will find a CD.
- Click on the notebook on the central desk and solve the calculation (41268-7935).
- Go to the computer desk below the periodic table and unlock the laptop with 7935.
- Now, insert the disk in the laptop and burn it.
- Go back to the auditorium and place the burned disk in the projector disk slot. Turn on the projector and the disk and observe the planetary alignment.
- Back to the Observation Room! Click on the yellow globe stand on the central table and a planetary puzzle will open up. Place the small globe inside the missing slot to activate the puzzle.
- Align the planets in the same fashion as in the auditorium and you will retrieve a key.
- Use the key on the Exit Door and you have successfully cleared the Planetarium level of Rooms and Exits.
