Isos in Warframe is a rare resource that you need for crafting the Basmu rifle, the Voidrig Necramech, and for upgrading various parts of your Railjack. As a resource added in the Empyrean update, it is limited to Corpus Railjack missions. Here’s our guide on the best methods to farm Isos.
How Do I Farm Isos in Warframe?
Isos exclusively appears as loot in Corpus-dominated Proximas within the Empyrean game mode. To unlock this mode, completion of The Archwing quest is a prerequisite. While having and piloting your Railjack is advantageous, it is not compulsory. If you lack a constructed Railjack, you can readily join a public group and board someone else’s ship.
Isos drops specifically in Corpus Proximas, namely Venus, Neptune, Pluto, and Veil Proxima during Empyrean missions. The Railjack can collect them within its generous loot pick-up radius. Even if you’re not the pilot, standing in the Railjack is sufficient to obtain Isos.

These drops typically occur in bundles, ranging from 5 to 10 units, originating from destroyed Corpus Crewships and smaller fighter crafts. Across all Corpus Proxima mission types, including endless ones, there is approximately a 14% chance to receive 5x Isos as an additional completion reward.
If you are thinking about using your usual loot frames like Nekros or Khora, keep in mind that their loot-increasing mechanics only work inside the Galleon interiors. I’d recommend running a few Survival missions in the Venus Proxima with a loot-farming squad to rack up Isos quickly.
