Blasphemous Blade is a Greatsword, with requirements in Strength (22), Dexterity (15) and Faith (21); and it scales from all of these stats. With the high stat requirements in Strength and Faith in particular; it suits a Paladin kind of a build – where you primarily rely on melee weapon attacks with spells for resistances / damage dealing. The weapon does split physical and fire damage; and at max upgrade it goes upto C scaling in Strength and Dexterity with a B scaling in Faith.
Blasphemous Blade Location
The Blasphemous Blade is obtained after defeating Rykard in the Volcano Manor and trading his remembrance with Enia at the Roundtable Hold.

- Meet and complete Rya’s quest starting from Liurnia Of The Lakes to receive an invitation to the manor
- Reach the manor located north-west of the Altus Plateau
- Speak to Tanith at the manor and complete all his missions – this will need access to Mountaintops of the Giants area
- You will be teleported to the site of grace right outside the boss area
- or, alternatively, you can complete the Volcano Manor area and reach the same site of grace
- Use the Serpent-Hunter found immediately as you enter the boss fight against Rykard to wipe out big chunks of health – a throwback to Yhorm the Giant fight in Dark Souls 3
Blasphemous Blade Weapon Ability
Blasphemous Blade Weapon Ability Taker’s Flames does a sword slam in front of you which does damage to enemies and heals you at the same time . The heal is 10% of max HP + 150 flat HP on each hit. The damage is pure fire damage and scales fully on Faith only; and thus makes a lot of sense to make the Faith stat your primary attribute.
And there you have it – one of the most broken weapons for the game, and which can completely change your experience with the game.
