A properly planned Advance Build in Lies Of P can absolutely shred enemies and is also a fun and cool build. Starting Class
Go with the ‘Path Of The Cricket’ – It has a balanced spread across all stats, the other two are more strength / dexterity focus builds. However, feel free to start with any of the other two, before the 1st boss you will have an option to purchase all the three starting class weapons, so there is no wrong choice here.
Stats Allocation

Weapon
Since Advance weapons do split damage between physical and one status effect (Fire / Electricity / Acid); and different enemies are resistant / vulnerable to specific damage types, you will need to keep switching weapons as per the enemy / area that you are at.
Best Early game weapons :
Electric Coil Stick – The first Advance scaling weapon you can lay your hands on, can be purchased from the merchant next to ‘Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard’ stargazer.
Salamander Dagger – A handy fire-based option – the blade can be combined with a longer handle for better reach. This is obtained in the Workshop Union Entrance area – climb up the stairs from the stargazer, enter the room on your left, down through the trapdoor, and open the safe.
Best Mid / End game weapons :
Acidic Crystal Spear – An acid damage – based option and a good one at that – can be obtained by taking the right fork down the path from Path of the Pilgrim stargazer
Black Steel Cutter – The best Advance class weapon that can carry you through the game, it is found in the Hermit’s Cave stargazer – go down the ladder, defeat the Carcass enemy and go into the room where the enemy came from to find a chest containing the weapon.

Legion Arm
The Legion Arm can be equipped to align with the weapon damage type. Each of the legion arms can be upgraded to increase their damage. We recommend the following Legion Arms and upgrades for an Advance Build in Lies Of P:
