The second area that players will run into after Limgrave, the Weeping Peninsula lies to the south-east of Limgrave and is named so – since it constantly rains. The description for the area, thus reads ” The peninsula, to Limgrave’s south, is named for its unceasing rainfall, redolent of lament.” A smaller area than Limgrave, but is more packed and has a good number of weapons to collect.

Claymore

One of the most reliable greatswords in the game, with a devastating weapon art, and one which can again carry you through most of the game – the moveset for the weapon includes a thrusting charged attack which is unique to this weapon in it’s category.

Demi-Human Queen’s Staff

The Demi-Human Queen’s Staff will be the first Intelligence based weapon that you can get your hands on – this is a pretty basic Glintstone staff to try out (it also has very low requirements for both Strength and Intelligence) till you come across better options.

Grafted Blade Greatsword

The Grafted Blade Greatsword looks every bit as awesome as its name – and with the recent patch that made the recovery from attacks faster, the weapon is a strong option for a Strength based build aimed to destroy the enemy with a few, carefully executed hits of this weapon. However, it has a steep Strength requirement of 40 – which means that you will most probably be getting this sword much earlier than when you can use it. It has an excellent Weapon Art which buffs all attributes by +5 for 60 seconds.

Nightrider Flail

A clear upgrade from the Flail found early on in Limgrave, but the weapon suffers from the simple fact that Flails, as a category are not the best performing ones by far and with the availability of far better options both on scaling, bleed build up, range and attack speed.

One of the best Faith melee weapons that carries you comfortably to end game; it has a great weapon art that is particularly useful in PVP, since it prevents the enemy from using healing potions.
