Sniper Elite 5 by Rebellion Developments puts the player into the shoes of Karl Fairburne as he hunts, snipes and kills his way across huge open zones set in France, during World War 2 in an attempt to foil the Nazis war machine. The game was well received as it significantly upped all aspects of the previous game, giving a proper stealth – sandbox option for the players to put hours into playing and replaying to find that best path for a perfect stealth kill. And as if the ranged and melee weapons with varying degrees of rarity were not enough, it introduced FLESH – a procedurally generated dismemberment system to make the kills even gorier.

The game featured a more expansive and open world setting as compared to the earlier games; and a fully developed multiplayer component as well. The game opened to generally good reviews, with the visuals and graphics being considered as ground breaking and one of the finest for that era. Uncharted 4 : A Thief’s End
