Just a day before the update 2.0 release, Honkai Star Rail has surpassed a staggering 100 million downloads, developer HoYoverse announced. The number encompasses downloads across PC, PS5, iOS, and Android, but even then, it’s a huge milestone to reach within 10 months of the game’s release.

Honkai Star Rail came out on April 6, 2023, on PC, iOS, and Android, followed by a PS5 launch on October 11, 2023. HoYoverse has maintained a stellar track record of introducing content updates periodically throughout this time to draw in new players and retain existing ones.

In addition to this milestone for Honkai Star Rail, HoYoverse announced support for Apple Vision Pro Compatibility Mode. This will let players on Apple’s latest spatial computing device delve into the space fantasy Gacha RPG.

The 2.0 update scheduled to go live tomorrow will undeniably bring in more players to Honkai Star Rail. The update will introduce a new region called Penacony along with new characters, events, banners, and all the usuals you’d expect from a large content drop.
