The Honkai Star Rail 2.0 servers will go under maintenance after the update is released on February 6, 2024, at 11 am (UTC+8). This will ensure that you have a smooth gaming experience when the servers come back. Hoyoverse will take the servers down for five hours so that the patch is implemented without any load on the server. During the five hours that the servers are inaccessible, the developers fix bugs and make the changes that they need to.
Thankfully, because you wait for five hours for the game to be playable, HoYoverse compensates you with Stellar Jades for every hour that you wait for the update to roll out fully.
Honkai Star Rail 2.0 Server Maintenance And Compensation
HoYoverse has released the maintenance schedule online. This will help you farm all the materials that you would require for pulling out new characters that will be introduced in the game. These new characters will be released in two different phases. Players will not be able to access the game when maintenance occurs.
The update will be out on February 6, 2024, at 6 AM (UTC+8) and will go on for five hours. Once the 2.0 update is rolled out properly and accessible, you will be able to access the newly introduced area of Penacony. You will also meet the new characters that will be introduced with the update. In the two phases of the update, you will meet the following characters:
- Black Swan (5-star Wind, Nihility)
- Misha (4-star Ice, Destruction)
- Dan Heng – Imbibitor Lunae (5-star Imaginary, Destruction)
- Sparkle (5-star Quantum Harmony)
- Sampo (4-star Wind Nihility)
- Jing Yuan (5-star Lightning Erudition)
- Hanya (4-star Physical Harmony)
- Qingque (4-star Quantum Erudition)
As a reward for waiting for the game, you will be given 300 Stellar Jades as compensation for the waiting period. Developers will also send additional Stellar Jades if the server downtime exceeds five hours. When the patch bugs are fixed, you will be rewarded with extra Stellar Jades.
You can collect all the rewards and compensation rewards from the in-game mail and use them at any time in the game. These rewards will stay in your in-game mail for 30 days. After that, they will expire automatically, if not claimed. You can find the in-game mail section in the Pause Menu, it is marked with the small envelope in the Menu.
When the new characters are introduced, you can pull Black Swan, who will be available in the second half of the Honkai Star Rail 2.0 update. Imbibitor Lunae and Jing Yuan will also get a rerun banner, and if you were not able to pull them in those updates, they can try now.
