The Iron Wayfarer Hammer in Lords Of The Fallen is a high strength scaling weapon, which when fully upgraded gives a S scaling to strength. It falls under the Grand Hammer category and it’s description reads ” An old hammer. Unfortunately for the people of Mournstead, there came a day when Harkyn, finally driven beyond breaking point, decided to act as the thing he had so long been accused of being : a monster”.

How To Get The Iron Wayfarer Hammer In Lords Of The Fallen

You must defeat the Iron Wayfarer boss who appears just as you approach the gates of the Bramis Castle in Upper Calrath area and drops The Iron Wayfarer Hammer as a reward. While the boss battle at this stage is not one of the more difficult ones, the narrow area in which you fight him, and his AOE attacks are the two things to keep in mind during the fight. It is a one phase fight and you will get the Iron Wayfarer Hammer in the end as a reward for defeating him.

The Iron Wayfarer Hammer

The Iron Wayfarer Hammer is a beast of a weapon and a great choice for end-game Strength builds. While heavy at 35.2, and has predictably slow attacks, each attack does a good deal of damage and poise damage as well. What’s more, the damage is split between all attack types – Physical : 109, Holy : 26, Fire : 26, Wither : 26. This, in my opinion is a great thing – while ensuring that the majority attack is physical, it does an equal spread between all other attack types, which means that even if enemies are resistant against one attack type, there are 2 other attack types also to deal damage against the enemy. That, along with the S -scaling makes it an easy recommendation.

The three runes that can be slotted in the Iron Wayfarer Hammer are 1st – Strength-based, 2nd – Strength-based, 3rd – Meta (any rune). Again, this opens up various possibilities to customize / strengthen your build – either you can slot runes to increase physical damage, or increase strength scaling or increase poise damage – ensuring your charged R2 with this weapon hits like a truck!
